Destiny 2: Where is Xur for the weekend of October 28

Seasoned Destiny 2 players know they can count on the elusive merchant Xur to make an appearance with special exotic items every Friday, but what’s not so clear is where you’ll be able to find him. Below, you’ll find a map with a marker that indicates where Xur is, as well as a list of his wares.

Who is Xur?

If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you should know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each character class. As of The Witch Queen, he now stocks legendary armor and weapons and sells additional exotic weapons with random rolls every week.

Where to find Xur (October 28 to November 1)

The trouble with Xur is finding him. We always know when Xur will show up — at the 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET reset each Friday. The question is where Xur will be. Previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map. He’s now unmarked and harder to find each weekend. Here’s where to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, as well as everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week.

This week, you can find Xur in Nessus, though he no longer appears on the barge. To find him, load into the Watcher’s Grave landing zone and look straight ahead. You’ll see a huge tree north of your starting position. Head over to it and climb onto its branches. You’ll find Xur up there standing on a wide branch.

Here is the exact location:

Xur’s wares for this week

The Queenbreaker – 29 Legendary Shards: All hail the queen. The Queenbreaker is an exotic sniper rifle that fires an electrical punch. The gun fires an a long-range arc bolt, which blinds any enemy it hits.

Khepri’s Sting (Hunter) – 23 Legendary Shards: Khepri’s Sting is a great exotic option if you’re looking to get the most out of your smoke bombs. With these arms, you’ll cast a smoke grenade every time you punch someone with full melee energy. You’ll gain Truesight while shrouded in the smoke, which highlights enemies. To top it all off, your smoke grenades will deal more damage.

ACD/0 Feedback Fence (Titan) – 23 Legendary Shards: ACD/0 Feedback Fence is a great set of gloves for Titans who don’t mind taking a few hits. This exotic stores energy every time you land a melee hit. On top of that, when you’re hit with a melee attack, incoming damage will be reduced and you’ll unleash your stored energy as an explosive attack.

Getaway Artist (Warlock) — 23 Legendary Shards: Getaway Artist is a set of gloves that essentially trades your arc grenade for a supercharged turret. While wearing this exotic, your grenade becomes an Arc Soul that autonomously moves around and shoots your enemies.

In addition, Xur will also sell the following weapons each week as of The Witch Queen. They will have random rolls every week. Both guns cost 125,000 glimmer, 200 legendary shards, one exotic cipher, and one ascendant shard.

Hawkmoon: Hawkmoon was one of the best hand cannons in the first Destiny, and it’s still a beast in Destiny 2. When you get precision kills with this gun, you gain stacks of charges. The final shot in your clip will do more damage based on how many charges you have stored. Headshot a bunch of thralls, and your last shot will do mega-damage. You just can’t stow the weapon mid-clip or you’ll lose your stacks.

Dead Man’s Tale: Dead Man’s Tale is an exotic scout rifle with some similarities to Hawkmoon. If you chain precision hits together, you’ll cause more damage. That will also reduce your load speed, so you’ll want to keep a steady aim with this gun to get the most bang for your glimmer.
